My Story

What feels like a lifetime ago, in world of suits, meetings and the never ending buzz of Legal & IT recruitment, I found success but yearned for something more meaningful.  Something was missing for me, but I couldn't quite place my finger on it.

Then, like a plot twist in my very own story, Montessori education found its way into my life.  It's principles of independence, respect, and love for the learning resonated with me deeply.  I was hooked, and there was no turning back.

I took a leap of faith, transitioning from the corporate ladder to the nurturing floors of a nursery.  Here, surrounded by curious eyes and little learners, I found my calling.  The joy of making a real difference of shaping minds and hearts, was incomparable.

The nursery was just the beginning.  For the last 12 years, I've been a nanny, a role that's brought laughter, challenges, and immeasurable amount of love into my life.  Each child I've cared for has taught me just as much as I've taught them.

And here we are today, at the helm of Your Nanny Friend, where my journey has blossomed into a mission; to bring families and nannies together, not just through a service, but through a story of connection and mutual understanding. 

 

My passion for nannying goes beyond running this agency. I still have the pleasure of working with a couple families, building amazing relationships and staying hands on in the field.  This keeps me in tune with the needs of families and nannies, ensuring that I understand, first hand, what families are looking for and the support nannies need to thrive in their roles.
