After School Nanny – Fowlmere, Royston (SG8)

A welcoming family in Fowlmere are looking for their first nanny to support their three children (aged 8, 6 and 10 months). The focus of the role will be on the two older girls, who love books, football, and after-school activities, while the baby is happy and easy-going. This is a screen-light, Montessori-inspired household where encouragement and positivity are valued.

Days/Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday, 2:00pm – 6:30/7:00pm

• Potential for additional afternoons or daytime hours in the future

• Start date: ASAP

 

Duties include:

• School pick-ups and driving to after-school clubs and classes

• Supporting with reading, spelling and homework

• Preparing simple cold dinners (children have hot meals at school)

• Helping with the evening routine and organising for the next day

• Offering a calm, encouraging presence while keeping afternoons fun and engaging

The family are looking for:

• A friendly, organised and energetic nanny with good English skills

• Someone confident supporting children with different needs and interests

• A driver with their own car (parking available)

• Open to junior candidates as this is their first nanny hire

 

Additional details:

• Location: Fowlmere, near Royston (SG8)

• No pets other than a hamster

• Salary: £15–£17 gross per hour (depending on experience)
