Full-Time Nanny – Harpenden – Shared Care

Days: Monday–Thursday
Hours: 7:30am – 6:30/7:00pm
Salary: £16 to £18 gross per hour (depending on experience)

G4, B2 & G9 months

A warm and welcoming family in Harpenden are looking for a fun, experienced, and caring nanny to join them long-term from September 2026

 

The Role:
The family are looking for a nanny who is warm, playful, and confident caring for three young children with a mix of sole and shared care.

​

Duties include:

• Morning routine – helping with breakfast, getting the children dressed, and off to pre-school/activities

• Planning fun and engaging activities such as toddler groups, playdates, and outings (the family have a zoo membership)

• Supporting nap and feeding routines, batch cooking and meal prep for the children

• Taking care of nursery duties such as children’s laundry and keeping play areas tidy

• Encouraging a calm and creative atmosphere with crafts, stories, and play

• Keeping parents updated and maintaining open, friendly communication

The Family Are Looking For:

• A nanny with at least 3+ years’ experience caring for young children, including babies and toddlers

• Someone reliable, fun, and nurturing who can build a strong bond with the children

• A nanny who is happy to work alongside mum

• Someone organised who can help keep family life running smoothly

• Ideally looking for a long-term nanny to grow with the family
