Mother's Help Required | Pirton, Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Starting ASAP

3 days per week (flexible on days) 

4 hours per day

Hours ideally between 9am and 3pm (can be flexible) 

Additional ad hoc hours may be available from time to time

£18 to £20 gph​

A warm and welcoming family in Pirton is seeking an experienced and nurturing Mother's Help to support them with their young baby and provide practical assistance around the home.

​

This is a lovely opportunity for someone with strong newborn experience who enjoys supporting first-time parents and becoming a valued part of family life.

​

The family are looking for an extra pair of hands to support with the care of their young baby and assist with light household tasks during the day.

 

Typical duties will include:

·        Supporting with the care and routine of a young baby

·        Preparing and giving bottles

·        Sterilising feeding equipment

·        Baby laundry

·        Unloading and loading the dishwasher

·        Preparing a family meal

·        General light household support related to the role

The family would love to find a warm, proactive and experienced Mother's Help with excellent newborn experience. As first-time parents, they would particularly value someone who is confident offering gentle guidance, reassurance and practical support when needed.

​

The successful candidate will be caring, approachable, organised and happy to work collaboratively with parents in a supportive role.

Essential Requirements

·        Previous newborn experience

·        Excellent references

·        Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

·        Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to update)

·        Reference
