Mothers Help – Twin Babies (5 months)
Location: Near Royston (Barley, SG8)
Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 1:30pm – 6:30pm (can be flexible on days)
Start: ASAP
Salary: £18 to £20 gross per hour (depending on experience)

A warm and welcoming family are looking for a caring and proactive Mothers Help to support them with their 5 month old twin boys. The babies were born 9 weeks early and are currently developing at around a 3 month stage, so experience with young babies is essential.

This is a hands-on support role where you will work alongside the parents to help create a calm, organised and supportive home environment.

 

Duties include:

• Supporting with weaning (or preparation for weaning)

• Bottle preparation and sterilising

• Baby laundry and organisation

• Light household tidying relating to the children

• Preparing simple baby meals and supporting batch cooking

• Being an extra pair of hands so parents can take breaks or attend to other tasks

• General day-to-day support

 

The ideal candidate:

• Experienced with babies (essential)

• Calm, caring and confident

• Proactive and happy to use initiative

• Comfortable in a family home environment

• Able to support routines and provide reassurance

 

A friendly cocker spaniel is also part of the home, so comfort with dogs is important.

 

This is a lovely opportunity to join a family at an important stage and provide meaningful day-to-day support.
