Mothers Help Required – St Albans (AL1)

3–4 days per week (flexible on days and will also be happy with just 1 or 2 days)
3:00pm / 4:00pm – 7:30pm

£17 – £20 gross per hour depending on experience

A warm and friendly family in St Albans are looking for a caring and proactive Mothers Help to support them in their home with their two young children.

• Boy, 2.5 years – currently in nursery full time, full of energy and curiosity, loves being outdoors, vehicles, books, dancing, cooking and baking
• Baby boy, 4 months – a happy, settled baby

 

The role will be primarily focused on supporting mum with the baby, helping with routines, feeding support, naps, and providing gentle, attentive care. There will also be time spent engaging with the older child after nursery and offering a helping hand so mum can enjoy one to one time with him.

• Role involves shared care with mum at home
• Looking for someone kind, gentle, playful and easy going
• Experience with early years and babies essential
• A good amount of energy and a family feel approach is important
• Previous nanny or nursery experience 
• Long term role with potential to extend hours over time
