We are seeking a caring and proactive Mothers Help to support a family in Stevenage. The role involves assisting with a three-year-old girl and a newborn due in September. This is initially a 6-month contract starting in September, with the expectation for the successful candidate to do a couple of settling-in mornings from July.

 

Responsibilities:

• Providing support with newborn care and assisting the eldest child when not at nursery

• Offering additional help in the home, including light housework such as children's laundry, tidying play areas and children's rooms, running the hoover, and preparing nutritious meals

• Assisting the mother with newborn care while she rests

 

Qualifications:

• Experience in childcare, particularly with newborns and toddlers

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Self-employed status

• Enhanced DBS
