Nanny Housekeeper – Harpenden (AL5)
2 days per week (Monday & Thursday)  1pm–7pm | £18–£20 gross per hour
Start: ASAP (family can wait until September)

A friendly, down to earth family in Harpenden are looking for a long-term Nanny Housekeeper to support them with their two children and help keep the home running smoothly.

The children:
 

A nearly 5-year-old boy in Reception who is chatty, affectionate and loves dinosaurs and imaginative play. He enjoys learning and responds well to encouragement.

A 1-year-old girl who is happy, relaxed and social. She is in a good routine, enjoys music and singing, and has a lovely bond with her brother.

 

Duties include:

• School and nursery pick ups (approx. 4:15 and 4:30)

• Preparing children’s tea

• Supporting with reading and homework

• Bedtime routine for youngest

• Light housekeeping (children’s laundry, tidying bedrooms, kitchen reset, dishwasher)

 

The family are looking for:

• Reliable, organised and caring nanny

• Someone warm who builds strong bonds with the children

• Good communication and a proactive attitude

• Someone happy with a mix of childcare and light housekeeping
