Nanny / Housekeeper (9 Months Maternity Cover) – St Albans | September Start

A lovely, welcoming family based in St Albans are looking for a warm, proactive and engaging nanny to care for their 7-year-old daughter on a 9-month maternity cover contract, starting in early September.
This is a fantastic role for a nanny who enjoys building meaningful connections with school-aged children and becoming a valued part of a family’s routine.
• Approx. 37 hours per week
• Monday & Friday: 1:00/2:00pm – 6:30pm
• Tuesday to Thursday: 7:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 6:30pm
• School holidays will generally follow a similar structure, with some flexibility
A driver is essential, and a duty car will be provided.
You will be caring for a bright, happy and well-mannered 7-year-old girl who will be turning 8 in October. She is mature for her age, enjoys being around adults, and thrives with calm communication.
She has a wide range of interests including violin, horse riding, Muay Thai, Lego, arts and crafts, football, bike rides, park outings and reading.
Duties Include
• School drop-offs and pick-ups, including after-school clubs
• Supporting with homework
• Preparing healthy meals
• Planning fun, engaging activities and outings
• Supporting organisation of the child’s routine and belongings
Additional light household duties include:
• Family laundry and changing bedding
• Running occasional errands
• Keeping play areas tidy and organised
• Supporting with online grocery orders
• Preparing one family meal per week
• Keeping on top of household essentials and the child’s needs
