Part-Time Nanny – Harpenden

​

We are looking for a nurturing, engaging, and experienced nanny to support a lovely family in Harpenden.

Role:

  • Current needs (ASAP): 1 day per week (flexible: Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday)

  • From September: 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

  • Hours: 8:30am – 6:30pm

  • Sole charge of two children: a toddler (B2 years old) and a baby (B4 months old)

  • Long-term role, ideally becoming a key part of the family

 

Duties include:

  • Drop-offs and pick-ups for the toddler from nursery (term time only)

  • Caring for the baby, planning and delivering engaging, play-based activities

  • Outdoor activities, playdates, and trips to the park

  • Children’s laundry

  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks

  • Supporting development, routines, and emotional wellbeing

 

Requirements:

  • Experienced nanny, confident with babies and toddlers

  • Engaging, playful, nurturing, and able to set boundaries

  • Own car and clean driving licence

  • Enhanced DBS

  • First Aid

  • Checkable References.

 

Rate: £17–£18 gross per hour
