Part-Time Nanny Role – Hitchin Area

£16–£18 gross per hour | Long-term

 

A lovely family are seeking a kind, reliable nanny to support with the care of their 4-year-old daughter. This is a long-term role offering a small number of guaranteed days per month, ideal for a nanny looking for flexibility alongside other work.

 

The Role

• Care for one happy, sociable 4-year-old girl
• Supporting nursery drop offs and pick ups
• Taking her to after-school activities
• Engaging her in age-appropriate activities such as music, dancing and arts and crafts
• Providing a warm, consistent and nurturing environment

Hours & Schedule

• 3 to 4 days per month
• Shift pattern provided 3 months in advance
• Split shifts on working days:
– Morning: approx. 6.15am – 9.00am
– Afternoon/evening: approx. 2.00pm – 10.00pm
• Occasional additional ad hoc shifts may be available

 

Start Date & Pay

• Start date: April / May
• £16 to £18 gross per hour, depending on experience
• Self-employed role
• OFSTED registration required (or willingness to register, with costs covered)

 

The Ideal Nanny

• Driver with own car required
• Open to Nanny with Own Children (NWOC)
• Warm, flexible and reliable
• Good level of childcare experience
• Looking for a long-term position and happy with a flexible working pattern
