​Part Time Nanny – St Albans, Hertfordshire
September Start | 25 Hours Per Week | 9-Month Maternity Cover

A lovely, welcoming family based in St Albans are looking for a warm, proactive and engaging nanny to care for their 7-year-old daughter on a 9-month maternity cover contract, starting in early September.

 

This is a fantastic role for a nanny who enjoys building meaningful connections with school-aged children and becoming a valued part of a family's routine.

 

The Role

• Monday to Friday, 1:30pm – 6:30pm
• 25 hours per week
• School holidays will generally follow a similar structure, with some flexibility

 

A driver is essential, and a duty car will be provided.

 

You will be caring for a bright, happy and well-mannered 7-year-old girl who will be turning 8 in October. She is mature for her age, enjoys being around adults, and thrives with calm, respectful communication.

She has a wide range of interests including violin, horse riding, Muay Thai, Lego, arts and crafts, football, bike rides, park outings and reading.

 

Duties Include

• School pick-ups and taking to after-school activities
• Supporting with homework
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks
• Planning fun, engaging activities and outings
• Supporting organisation of the child's routine and belongings
• Children's laundry
• Batch cooking and preparing meals for the child

• The family have a friendly, well-behaved dog (with a dog walker in place)
